WHAT IS THE NRU?
Netflix is a reality powerhouse and fans form personal connection to the stars. Fans even came up with a name for their favorite reality stars: The “Netflix Reality Universe” AKA the NRU. We used the power of social media and the stars that Netflix reality fans know and love to take this fan term and cement it into pop culture.

We brought in the fans
We created a design true to the Netflix brand identity that was simple enough to flex across a range of assets, but differentiated enough to establish a unique visual approach for this new sub-brand. We created bespoke social assets for Netflix, talent channels and Tudum.com, where the fan superlative vote was hosted.
